The routes were rather pedestrian. I thought we would have done some adjustments to get some guys open more.

I know TM had a rough game but the receivers did very little to get separation and open.

I haven't had the luxury of being at the games and watching on TV it's impossible to see what our receivers are doing so that's been my question all along, i.e., does Tanner just not see the field well and takes too long to go through his progressions or are our guys just not getting any separation? Thanks for sharing this information. Coach Likens needs to get on his guys to give 100% on every play because we have enough depth at the position to allow serious competition for playing time

Until this last game, I too, didn't have the luxury of watching the receivers. So its possible they have performed at a high level and I just happen to watch them in detail this one game. Still, midway through a season one would hope the receivers are preforming at a high level effort. Just didn't look that way agains Cincey

On Maryland's touchdown was that tip by Rice intentional? I couldn't tell from the replay.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I guess all receivers that see the ball in air go to the area/receiver the ball headed. Watching the replay over, and over again on the Facebook post of it yesterday, it kinda looks like Rice punched or volleyball dig the ball up in Maryland's direction? Accidentally on purpose. :D
May the forth be with us.

Wasn't it Rice to Roberson that won the La Tech game on the final play last year? Like a tip drill...if you can't catch it, at least keep it alive

Whatever it was, the ref had already pulled out the hankie to flag PI. Luckily the ball bounced right for us into RJ's hands. So at worst would have been PI by UC on Rice. The other PI was a "thank god" one, because it would have been an INT if not for the guy pushing our receiver.
