It was posted elsewhere but I believe Rhett said he's out for the season (broken collar bone I believe).

left side if I'm not mistaken so should not affect his throwing. Would expect him to come back strong next year but this is why it's so important to have depth at QB and that's a challenge when so many guys hit the portal because they aren't starting

Shouldn’t affect his throwing other than the fact he can’t play. Can I NIL the staff to play the qb from today instead of TM henceforth?

Should been done from the get-go. I saw KHJ and the SOC team annihilate Lovejoy last year in the HS playoffs and ultimately won state. PS and KHJ are great QBs. The problem is the overlap in eligibility will be a problem to where I could see one or the other transferring.

I expect Sone will transfer after this season. He got to show what he can do and should have high interest from multiple P5 schools. He probably will be able to get a medical red shirt as well.
Hopefully, Mordecai will come back for one more year and then hand it over to Jennings
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Don't know why you would think that. It's possible that all of our QBs are happy being at SMU and will exhaust their eligibility here. If anything, all of our QBs know they are one play away from being called on to come in and help this team win games.

Agreed Preston has already turned down offers from Alabama, Ohio St, Michigan, Texas, Georgia & USC among others, so he obviously has a connection to SMU. Plus i expect SMU to be receiving a P5 offer soon.

Not going to happen. Tanner will move on after this season.

I agree with this. Tanner will probably head to a p5 school looking for a 6th year senior.
