Re: Houston game threadNeed to send DC back to Liberty...D is woeful
Re: Houston game threadThe announcer literally called Houston "we."
Re: Houston game threadelectric game. lots to analyze. I love how after that Rogers pick with less than 2 min to go and a 2 poss game Jason Ross said it "might have just sealed the deal." Enjoyed the commentary from Tyoka Jackson but man these guys we're pulling hard for Houston.
Re: Houston game thread
Well WE are going to lose tonight
Re: Houston game threadAlso props to Jahari for running the endzone for a bit to burn a few extra seconds. awesome game.
Re: Houston game threadcrazy that Goffney was our leading receiver with only 100 yards
Re: Houston game threadThat was one crazy game. Obviously, we gotta clean up the defense but man that offense was amazing.
Re: Houston game thread
He's a player and you could tell right away. Tough kid and possibly the heir apparent as SMU's # 1 guy?
Re: Houston game threadLavine had about 150. Man I wish we’d used him against Maryland.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Houston game thread83 offensive plays tonight should be another SMU single game record. Houston averaged 10 yards per play and our guys 7.7. Track meet tonight resulting in a basketball score but it was fun
Re: Houston game threadFor those who watched on tv, did Rice catch that ball in the corner of the end zone? Looked from my seat that he slid his foot and made the circus catch.
By the way, that was the highest scoring college football game ever that did not go into overtime. 13 first half touchdowns. Just insane.
Re: Houston game thread
No it was the right call
Re: Houston game thread
Rice was juggling that catch and as he took possession his right side appeared to also be out of bounds. Even in slow mo it looked bang bang. I thought it should have called as stood but not confirmed.
