This is embarrassing.
Re: Tulane Game Thread
[quote="Charleston Pony"]Tulane just has better athletes and a LOT more speed than our guys. They are making it look easy and just might hang 77...or more on our defense tonight[/quote. I’ve seen a ton of SMU football since 1989 and this has to be one of the most frustrating and worst Defenses in our history. I suffered thru Baylor never passing or punting at Ownby. I sat in the pouring rain in a poncho at Ford for a TCU man-handing. We seem to have better athletes now but at the same time the overall quality of opponent has declined since the SWC days. This is so sad and unacceptable to me given what our expectations are at this point.

How long before Tanner graduates and leaves SMU???? Can’t be fast enough. We want Kevin!

Embarrassed on national tv no less. At least if this game were buried among the thousand games on Saturday.

If our coaches read Ponyfans they would realize we can’t tackle.

I'm sure any authorities from the P12 watching this game are really impressed (NOT).

Re: Tulane Game Thread
Why is Gardner on the radio? Does he know anything about football? If so, he hides it well.

Re: Tulane Game Thread
Tanner has pretty consistently been at his worst in big games. Really disappointing. And Rice is really overhyped, too. I understand he's been playing hurt, but his hands are nothing special and I can't even keep p with how many drops he's had this year.
