As bad as Tanner has been in big games against good teams, it sure would help if his WRs could hang onto the good balls he throws. I'm really tired of announcers saying it's uncharacteristic for Rice to drop balls. Seems like a pattern to mePlanoStang wrote:BRICKSas in bricks for hands

Looked like Tanner hurt his shoulder.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Tulane Game Thread
BPS is SO real…..why do we put up with it? Serious question. How many games like this have we sat through…???.,.hope, encouragement, we got this… followed by 53-10, 35-3, 20-0.,,,,I have say through many, many.,,,,gets old, really does,

I contribute generously to pony sports DTXΓǪ..sorry this is the most talented roster we’ve had in yearsΓǪ.so incredibly inconsistent is the frustrationΓǪblown out by Tulane with everything on the lineΓǪ.that’s not talent it’s coachingΓǪfocusΓǪpreparationΓǪ.

Not only does our secondary not tackle well...it really appears they are afraid to tackle people. When Pratt comes at them full speed they want no part of him. I hate it when opposing QBs are so rough on our poor little DBs

Don't do it Charleston! Just lower your expectations a bit. I did and it really helps. And as we've been told for 25 years....We'll be better "next year"...."once the new coach has his own players". Tune back in around Spring or August...its sunshine time! Go Mustangs!Charleston Pony wrote:I'm getting dangerously close to giving up on our program

Not going to keep our receivers from dropping the ball.Arkpony wrote:For the love of God! Try another QB!

An awful lot of money to fly a hundred guys to New Orleans and put them up overnight just to forfeit the game. They could have just sent an email and saved the school an embarrassment on national TV.

Totally agree and it’s going to be even harder when our toughest competition are Tulsa and Memphis. I know Sonny’s first year was 5-7 and the team got much better over the next two years but this team is so much more talented than the team he took over. It’s hard to see a path where this gets better moving forward.Charleston Pony wrote:I'm getting dangerously close to giving up on our program. Every big game the team comes up totally small. TM isn’t on point, receivers drop passes, defense can’t tackle, ST makes WAAAY too many mistakes. It’s hard for me not to ask if coaching is the issue with so many problems.
