Agreed. He should have played at least the 4th quarter.SoCal_Pony wrote:Embarrassing to play KJ this late in the gameSoCal_Pony wrote:Hopefully Preston Stone is our starter next year.
But he has yet to play a complete game without being injured.
Someone tell me why Kevin Jennings is not playing right now, he could use the experience.

I am so envious of TCU. Football ranked 4th and basketball ranked 15th. That’s what a good administration accomplished.

Re: Tulane Game Thread
This was a garbage performance. The start of the game and to make no adjustments after halftime. This team has either no talent or no pride, perhaps both.

JasonBs recap will be interesting. 5TOs, numerous dropped passes and sacks, poor tackling, bad coaching and so on.
Long live Inez Perez!

not just the team but the coaches as well. we seem to have a habit of playing our worst in big games and on national TV.

Sonny was right...as were those who came before him. We are SMU and we are what we are!Arkpony wrote:I am so envious of TCU. Football ranked 4th and basketball ranked 15th. That’s what a good administration accomplished.

Basically like Baylor’s 31-3 home loss to KSU last weekend. Inexplicable.
SMU’s defense was like the UH game but offense was far worse. Tulane had a CCG to play for.

Re: Tulane Game Thread
The overriding factor was +4 turnover margin.

+4 or more turnover margin: 100% odds of winning
Also, the Tulane defense shows up in offensive differences. TM was 35 of 52 passing. Sounds good. But he was just 6.3 yards per attempt which is below his total season average of 8.2 yards per attempt.
Tulane was able to run the ball very well. How much was due to losing Freeman? They averaged 7.4 yards per carry vs. 3.2 for SMU.
