Then how is this credible?

I really hope we get him. He has a great reputation as an ethical coach and recruiter. We will need all those qualities after the tarnish Tubbs has put on the program.

more like the tarnish Max Williams has put on the program. Unless you know something we don't, Tubbs did not do any damage to the program.

I don't recall Tubbs being fresh off the turnip truck when he took the job. Tubbs knew that taking money from a booster was an infraction. I have said that we should ban Williams.

For God sakes Hoop. You have to have some sort of agenda here. DISD coaches this, old rich man Max screws us and Tubbs, the implications of this will be big and could come off as racist, the only coach I like is Rob Evans, etc etc. I used to think you were close personal friends with Tubbs. Now I have come to realize the error in my ways. You must either be the president of the NAACP or the Reverend Jesse Jackson himself. One of the two. That is the only explination possible at this point.

Regardless who we bring in I wish coach Tubbs all the best, he seemed like a very nice guy the few times I met him. I also hope that the new headcoach, whoever it may be, is a success at SMU and a couple years from now we look back at his hiring as a turning point for our program. Lastly, I will pray every night that we can leave behind any tarnish left by anyone so I won't have to hear about it anymore.

I think that Orsini wants someone other than Evans. Evans has a chance at getting the job, but there are more attractive candidates in Orsini's eyes.
