My bet is that both Johnson and Williams will be downgraded from 4 star guys to 3 star transfers because they are coming to SMU but sure looks like the roster has been upgraded as we prepare to compete in a watered down AAC

Lashlee wants to run power, very physical running game with explosive backs. Then use WR screens and deep balls to take advantage of the compressed defense. Not only are we fixing the defense, but the offense is morphing into what Lashlee wants.

Think back to how defenses played against us this year - against a 3 man front, we struggled the most. Now you have mobile QBs, a strong power running game, and if the LBs and a safety have to help to stop the run, the deep ball over the middle is there for RJ Maryland, or you are leaving an outside WR without help deep. The 3-3-5 stack is built to attack the run from the back and take away the intermediate passing game. But if they are afraid of the run, the weakness is to beat it over the top.
