SMU women's basketball has signed transfer guard Tiara Young, who earned AAC 6th Player of the Year honors last year at Houston. The 5-8 senior guard started her career at LSU before transferring to UH.
In 2022-23, she finished second on the Houston team with a scoring average of 12.0 points per game and 51 assists during the season. She shot .377 from the floor and .773 on free throws.
