I am sure he is then, not saying it will happen, but I was just not sure when coaches are allowed to call ect.

SMU has no shot at Arthur without Tubbs. Sorry that's just the way it is.

SMU had no shot at Arthur with Tubbs either. That is the way it is and it is our own fault.

SMU had no shot at Arthur with Tubbs either. That is the way it is and it is our own fault.
Exactly. Arthur crossed SMU off his list while Tubbs was still in SMU's good graces.

Fair enough. I hadn't seen that when I responded to your post.
However, at this point I believe Doherty has neither accepted nor declined the offer.

DA aint coming our way - whoever gets him may be getting a knock on the door from the NCAA anyway.

He would definitely help with recruiting "Shady." He brought Felton, McCants, and May to UNC he knows how to recruit, Shady would be a huge player for us in the coming year if we could bring him in here, regardless of what happens with him though. Doherty is an excellent coach and would be a great hire for the university. Probably one of the best athletic decisions SMU has made in a while along with their decision to bring in Orsini.
