TCU and Oklahoma are going to require absolute excellence. Other than that I don't know how the troll gets to 8-4 best case. Maybe you can elaborate and help us understand, troll.

I firmly believe we start 4-0…I’m not sure OU is “magically back”, and tcu is certainly beatable..if that’s the case, hang on folks. #68BluebonnetBowlGhostReturns

OU was not very good last year, but make no mistake. . . SMU will be a heavy underdog in Norman. OU is not unbeatable, but I'm not penciling that one in as a W.
Likewise, TCU in Fort Worth is going to be a very heavy lift.

I think OU this year is much like Maryland last year. A very winnable game but a likely loss. Based on our investment in the program and our amazing haul in the transfer portal we should start winning those games, but we are SMU after all.

If Levine had played against Maryland, we would have won, handily. Stuffed on two 4th and 1s.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

UNT has 4 conference titles since 2000. Won the Sun Belt in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004. Sun Belt was a joke back then, but hey, still counts.SMUstang wrote:ECU, FAU, Memphis, Tulsa, UAB, and UTSA each have 2 conference titles since 2000. Rice, Temple, and Tulane have 1 title. Charlotte, Navy, SMU, UNT and USF have no titles in this century. Let's hope that changes this year with the depth we expect to have and UCF and Cincy being gone.

Sorry for the oversight.

USF and Navy have had 11 win seasons in the AAC. We peaked at 10 wins and talk a good game but really need to put a season together here soon.

True, but never more than 7 conference wins.
