If I remember correctly, I thought it was stated that the construction would be complete before the start of the season. I have not really seen many updates, but looking at how much work is left to do, I don't see anyway it is going to be finished by September 1st.
Anyone have the scoop on the timetable. Would really stink if we dont have the video board and large scoreboard up and running by game day.

Re: Stadium Construction
I think they are planning on tying in the project completion with the P12 media announcement sometime before Sept. 2024..

Re: Stadium Construction
As long as they get the framing up, then the crane can be moved out and we can play some football. I would think it would be a tough timeline to get the exterior up and score board ready.
You never know. We play Sept 2 but there will be lots of yellow tap.

When Amon G. Carter was renovated (both in 2010 and 2019), the stadium, while still under renovation/expansion both times, received the permits for commercial use the day before the game. I imagine something similar here...a well managed contractor will squeeze everrrrry second possible while simultaneously working to pull the permit for commercial use at the last minute (and as you said, yellow tape everywhere).

Re: Stadium Construction
I rode by the construction on my bike ride this morning, and saw the large I beams that will support what I guess will be a huge screen just outside the North Endzone. The crane was about to start setting them. lots of people working all over the stadium site.
