Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media deal
WV has had lots of success in FB historically. Large stadium that regularly sells out. Yes, academically they are a little sniffable. However, some great programs in specific fields. Definitely a fit geographically. I do not see them as an odd choice for the ACC at all.
Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media dealIf we are invited to join the ACC, I would be happy for WVU to be invited as well. Hell, Sul Ross and Tarleton State could be our travel partners and that would be fine, too.

Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media dealDepending on what a future ACC might look like, SMU moving to the ACC trumps our attempted move to the Big East as far as I'm concerned
Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media dealInteresting article on ACC expansion. The author feels all three are unlikely to get the votes but how little each is willing to take in media money may heavily impact the outcome
Teel: How might Cal, Stanford make sense for ACC? And what of SMU? https://richmond.com/sports/college/acc ... 33674.html
Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media deal
Teel is very well respected and experienced in ACC country. His take is frankly more favorable to SMU than I expected. And he’s aware of the willingness to take a reduced share, which a lot of commenters aren’t.
