If Doh is the great recruiter those that back him say, I would think you would want all to transfer so he could bring in the Messiah quintuplets immediately.

If Doh is a great recruiter like people say then he can get bamba and morris to stay.

Although if morris is homesick as rumor has it, this is an easy excuse for him.

Wouldn't blame anybody for transferring after the handling of the Tubbs debacle by SMU. Maybe Max Williams will pay him some cash to stay.

Good god, don't even suggest that. There's enough speculation and whispering going around without encouraging more money changing hands.

I read that and thought it was stallion until I looked at the name of the poster

I have made it clear that I was an Evans supporter and wanted him due to his experience in turning around a program very similar to ours. That said, please know that I am happy with Doherty. I had said from the beginning that I wanted and experienced Div 1A rather than a lower level or an assistant and I am impressed with Orisini's agressiveness in getting a "name" coach and hopefully setting up the ground work for renovations and expansions.

That all said, my comment was in respect to those that think just the name will automatically bring in Daryl Arthur et al and we will be in the final four next year. There is still a lot of fence mending to do in Dallas. We could be successful on Dallas area athletes alone, but I am under the impression we may have to rely on outside recruits for a while. I like Bamba and Morris, but if they choose to leave, so be it. Let the rebuilding start today and lets accomplish something this time.

AND let us make sure whatever happened to Coach Tubbs never happens again. If that means banning a booster so be it.
