I have two tix in section 105 for the game this weekend. Willing to give them to a SMU fan at no cost plus parking in the Hillcrest garage. Send me a message if u want them

Right on - and that's first half stats. Second half will be worse.
If (and I know it is still a big if) SMU gets an ACC invite on Friday, I wonder what that would do for our attendance numbers against LA Tech on Saturday! Beat the Heat and LA Tech!

Probably pulls a few more people in partying on the BLVD. Not gonna be a big stadium boost to LaTech esp at 11am, Charlotte, PVA&M, etc because they are who they are.
Stayed until 5 mins left with my three year old. Concourse was so much better. Food and drinks were easy to get and my wife couldnΓÇÖt stop talking about the A/C in the restrooms. The heat will go down and IΓÇÖm confident that we will be ready to take on bigger crowds.

I sure hope so because seeing that crowd in Ft Worth made me wonder whether Ford would have been packed if we had hosted Colorado. I certainly hope so. As much as we love to bash TCU, they are way ahead of us in far too many areas. Hopefully the ACC will help bring SMU back but I can't help but remember some of the paltry crowds we had back in the Pony Express days when we weren't playing Texas or Arkansas or A&M (teams that would bring half the crowd)
I liked the students being in the stands for the first quarter to half. A student I know was planning to stay into the third quarter but they didnΓÇÖt know anyone around them. TCU just came off a title game appearance.
The Boulevard was great. Cox area is fabulous. Big screen TV with Gameday. SMU Parents tent in prime spot with cash bar. Some Vard spots not used due to Labor Day weekend? But all suites seemed full. Overall great experience but just too hot, even for Peruna. Great idea to hand out a water to each fan and the recruit section had coolers with water with great helpers.
