IΓÇÖm not sure if weΓÇÖll win but we should expect this game to be competitive. If our mentality is to win the American conference this year, that means we should expect to be in a NY6 bowl. IΓÇÖm not sure what to expect out of OU given their record last year, but I expect they will be much improved. I also expect them to be potentially the favorite to win the B12 this year. But if we aspire to win our conference and be in a NY6 bowl, we absolutely need to be competitive in this game.

I was looking at the stats of their staring QB and their true freshman QB in their game against Arkansas St, and their completion % was completely off the charts. ThatΓÇÖs not normal for a true freshman in their first game (100% completion) and it doesnΓÇÖt matter if the guy was a 5 star. Given that the starting QBs career completion is in the 60%+, IΓÇÖm going to assume that this last game was an outlier. But we need to be balanced, keep it competitive and maybe theyΓÇÖll force things. My guess is their defense still has some holes in it and can be scored on. I expect a high scoring game in the 40s.

Tight game early with our defense showing massive improvement. We still don't have OU level of depth so they pull away late to defeat SMU 35-20.
