We're lucky we have (at least) 2 very good QBs both of whom could be starting for other P5 teams.

Ok I digress on pouting I still think Jennings is the one with an NFL caliber arm and still is shifty/athletic enough to keep the defense honest.

I am hearing the Jennings is ready. Got #1 practice all week. But Stone may pass a protocol test and be able to play. Up in the air, but we are prepared.

Ideal situation for forcing NTCC to prepare for both.

If Stone can't go, the line has to keep Jennings clean and keep the QB hits to a minimum.

Even if Stone is cleared to go, I'd be tempted to start Jennings to see if he can control this game. If Jennings can win this game, I'd like to have Preston at full strength for Memphis and Jennings gaining more experience tonight

Preston Stone is clearly a guy who just wants to win. He knew the Rice game was important, and he desperately wanted to go back in. Once it sunk in that he wouldn't be able to, I saw a guy doing whatever he could to help his team -- including giving encouragement and maybe some pointers to Jennings.
