WEATHER UPDATE --- RAIN ALL DAY @ Tulane
Ugly wet forecast for New Orleans all-day Saturday.
Sucks --- probably takes away from our passing game, but good for our RB room.
Cautiously optimistic we can get this done.

Re: WEATHER UPDATE --- RAIN ALL DAY @ Tulane
Our running game is as good as it needs to be, and there were many times this year when I felt like we should have run the ball more. So I think, if anything, this is a blessing.
With the rain, I think this game is going to be all about ball security.

Same here. It takes away their passing game as well. I will take our rbs, plus KJ as a running threat, and then add our grinding defense on top of that.
Re: WEATHER UPDATE --- RAIN ALL DAY @ Tulane
This game will be won on turnovers and special teams play. I saw the Oregon State / Washington game played in the rain the other night and it was a comedy of errors due to the wet conditions.

Rain? Life isn't all 80 & sunny with $5 pre-packaged PB&J sandwiches and walk throughs in the IPC. Hope it rains hard all day and there are 3 lightning delays. Whatever happens just say: good

Special teams?!?!? Well, that's not good.

UTSA only lost cause of the 5 turnovers last week. Hold onto the ball and we will be good.

let's hope RL has the team practicing with wet footballs. to win we must not turn the ball over.

What happens with the tailgate if the rain forecast holds up?
Re: WEATHER UPDATE --- RAIN ALL DAY @ Tulane
My weather app shows the rain "stopping" around lunchtime...65-70 degrees. I'm optimistic. #BEATTulane

Rain - who cares!
One of the Ponies greatest victories came in Little Rock against the piggies in 1983. Buckets of rain plus a tornado warning stopping the game. The Mustang Band had to shelter under the stands while the field was evacuated.
Mustangs won 17-0. Ark had not been shutout for 20 years AND it was Lou Holtz last game in hillbilly land.
Morale of the story ΓÇö if our defense shows and stays sharp ΓÇö rain doesnΓÇÖt mean a thing and we win.
