I thought he was the clear starter for the frogs. The freshman that replaced him was no bargain, clearly. Seems like a competitor would have stayed in Ft. Worth and won his old job back. Odd.

Interesting. I watched a lot of TCU games this year and that backup guy definitely looked like a "work in progress". Not like he came in and just put Morris out of a job.

QBs are doing well in the NIL era so maybe he's just testing his value on the open market? Either that or he might want to go somewhere he won't have to compete for playing time? Last I heard Chad was working with Dabo at Clemson as an offensive analyst so maybe he's looking for another chance as a HC somewhere and hoping Chandler will join him as a package deal?
