2023-24 bowl games
Interesting game in Frisco tonight featuring 2 freshmen QBs, UTSA's Owen McCown (Josh's son) vs Marshall's Cole Pennington (Chad's son). Marshall up 14-7 in 2nd quarter

So far, so good with Louisiana beating Jacksonville State (another one of Liberty's better opponents this year) and Fresno crushing NMSU.

I'm rooting for USF tonight, as it's my niece's last game as a SunDoll and my sister and BIL flew down to Boca.

Off to the pep rally at Mandalay Bay, then the tailgate at Allegiant, then the Las Vegas Bowl with my pommie by my side! Wish us luck, we'll need it, haha. If you watch on TV, we're the ones in purple.

No wonder Florida State is so upset with the ACC
Re: 2023-24 bowl games
Only a handful of former conference mates whose diploma would be shameful to have on display, anywhere, and whose swag would be embarrassing to wear….U of H and Memphis (same difference) near the top of list…NTSU a close third. #CanYouImagine?

Washington Post's Sports Betting columnist says "SMU is clearly the better team here. Take the Mustangs" at -10.

I'm sure red draggin coog said something stupid. That is why he is on the ignore list. Probably something about how bad Rice looked and how close our game with Rice was. Didn't Rice and uh play earlier this year? How did that turn out?

Let's wait and check the attendance figures for the Cougars bowl game.

Yet our conference mates actually want to be with us while you get the blame for destroying another.

Re: 2023-24 bowl games
Texas State's enrollment is more than 3 times SMU's and Houston has even more students than TX State. Surprising Texas State couldn't sellout our tiny little stadium and equally surprising Houston doesn't sellout every one of their home games, especially playing in the Big XII. Last time I checked, Houston has about the same number of students as it's football stadium's seating capacity so by comparison SMU should probably only need about a 10,000 seat stadium. Then again, SMU needs more seats than students because you have to consider the fact that SMU has a much higher graduation rate than Cougar High so we have to accommodate more alumni.Red Dragon Coog wrote:
