Which begs the question, suppose we by some mysterious voodoo win the ACC next year, would we not get money from the CFP if we played in the CFP and would they be able to televise the game without paying us?

I know nothing about the dynamics of this, but its interesting that BYU, UCF, Cincy, and UH apparently were granted a share of the revenues. So why is this now suddenly a big issue when SMU joins?

It is another shot at the ACC. The desire is to either kill the ACC as they did the Pac, or else weaken the ACC more than they weakened the Big 12.
