Taking the roster that ROCKNEPONY was nice enough to compile, but re-sorting it by height:
C/F Mitchell Holmes Freshman — 6'11 215lbs
C/F Yohan Traore - UCSB TRANSFER — 6'11 225lbs
C Jerrell Colbert - K-State TRANSFER — 6'10 216lbs
F Keon Ambrose-Hylton — 6'9" 220 lbs
F Chance Puryear Freshman — 6'7 190lbs
G AJ George - Long Beach TRANSFER — 6'6 190lbs
F Matt Cross - UMass TRANSFER — 6'6 225lbs
G Chuck Harris — 6'4" 190 lbs
G Kario Oquendo - Oregon TRANSFER — 6'4 210lbs
G B.J.Edwards — 6'3" 185 lbs
G Jackson Young [walk-on] — 6'2 185 lbs SR
G Boopie Miller - W.Forrest TRANSFER — 6' 175lbs
G Trey Utter [walk-on] — 6' 160 lbs
Compare that front line to last year's: Xavier Foster (7'0 or 6'11 ... depending on which roster you looked at) Mo Njie (6'11) Ambrose-Hylton (6'9) Samuell Williamson (6'8) Tyreek Smith (6'8)
Ambrose-Hylton is the only one still on the roster. Foster and Njie barely played. Williamson is a terrific player but struggled with his shot. Smith scores on dunks and put-backs, but contributed most on rebounds and defense.
Now they go 6'11, 6'11, 6'10 and Ambrose-Hylton at 6'9. If these big guys contribute even a little, things are going to look really different in Moody next year.

I enjoyed seeing Keon Ambrose-Hylton, Jefferson Koulibaly, Sam Williamson, Emory Lanier and Ricardo Wright get their SMU degrees in APSM this morning. Pony Up!

And I like seeing that Keon (at least so far) apparently plans to return for another season. It's so common for guys who graduate to enter the portal and move on but hopefully Keon stays and becomes part of a team that finally earns that elusive NCAA bid

Keon was previously recruited by this staff and is totally on board with them and the system they run. I was fortunate to meet him recently and he couldn’t say enough great things and is excited about the team for next year.

Add the 6'9" Tibet Gorener to that list and it appears we have all the bigs we need but hopefully the new staff can add a 3 point gunner to that list. Can't have enough of those guys to compete these days.

Gorener is San Jose State's career leader in 3s. Or did you mean ANOTHER gunner?
It will be fascinating to see these how these guys gel with the new coaches and with each other, but at least on paper, it looks like a really promising group.

Gorener hits threes at a 33% clip. I want another guard like Harris who hit 40% of his threes last year. We're going to need 2-3 guys hitting threes at that rate to compete in the ACC. We've got some guys coming in who have shot that well at times but it's nice to have enough depth to allow coach to go with the hot hand on any given night

Sat at lunch next to SMU great, Bob Begert yesterday, and he said we just missed out on a 7'2" big man, but he likes what we have put together so far.

Loved watching (and listening on the radio) to those 60's Doc Hayes Mustang teams with Begert, Hooser, Beasley, Holman and the rest. Always in contention for SWC titles and post season play
