Why wouldn't he? Good things are happening. He'd be crazy not to.

crazy? lets not get carried away. What was the deal with Ritter? Was he just on a long suspension or something? I take it he always had a chance to be reinstated since he never was off the roster.

Obviously, Doherty needs some warm bodies to coach.

I dont mind the idea of giving Ritter or anybody a second chance if its appropriate. I guess that leaves just two scholarships open, not 3. Its gonna be real interesting to see what Doherty does here pretty quick.

Thank god. Bamba Fall has to be the foundation around which Coach Doherty will begin to build.

I had heard for a while he was homesick. Some people say he had already made his mind up to transfer before Tubbs was canned others think he was still undecided at the time of Tubbs's termination.
Not sure where he will go but the talk was he wanted to be closer to home.

I heard it was a couple of things with Morris, one of which starts with a G and rhymes with "maids." I also heard he was officially withdrawn before before Tubbs was fired.

I heard it was some of each -- the homesickness, I gather, is quite real, but I've also heard what you're reporting, Blog. I gather from several people that it is a combination of the two, and like you, I heard he withdrew long before Coach Tubbs was dismissed.
Good luck, Brian.

That's something I was seriously worried about. I count this as Coach Doherty's first recruiting victory.
