Palo Alto +3 - booked Hotel and flights last night.
Re: Your Away Game Plans?
Certainly UVA, I only live 2 hours away and if my new farmhouse is finished 1 hour away from that. Maybe Louisville, but that's really iffy.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

By the way, for anyone thinking of the Duke game, the 21c museum hotel in the Mustang Club package is a great choice--cool hotel, good bar/restaurant, and right in the middle of the downtown mix of bars, restaurants, and shopping.

Re: Your Away Game Plans?
I'm trying to make all five! I'll buy my Nevada and Louisville tickets today.
* Nevada and Stanford are 2+ hour drives from my house.
* I bought a plane ticket for Louisville last month.
* For Duke, I'll stay with a friend in Raleigh (just like the ECU game last year)
* For Virginia, what's the best/closest airport to use? Dulles appears to be 3+ hours away. Is Richmond a sizeable airport? Does Charlottesville have an airport?
Are they selling tickets to tailgate parties for these games? I haven't seen a mention of them yet.

Charlottesville is served by American, Delta, and United from their near-ish hubs. (So if you can get to Charlotte in one flight, Atlanta in one flight, or Chicago in one flight, then you can get there with only that one stop.)

I'm going to the Duke game with my son. I want to buy tix through SMU to support the program. Is SMU selling away game tix to Duke yet?
Re: Your Away Game Plans?
Charlottesville does have air service. It also has AmTrak and at least two trains per day from DC. Two hour train ride or drive. Its about 2 hours drive from Richmond as well.

Charlottesville is great and obviously has a ton of similarities to SMU
