Wake 45-13 over NC A&T

NC State 38-21 over Western Carolina

UNC wins 19-17 @ Minnesota after Heels starting QB injured and carted off. Gophers miss would be game winning FG wide right as time expires

Good start for ACC teams

It looks like even good teams can hiccup in the first game of the season. Colorado almost lost to ND State. NCS struggled early. UNC barely won. So, we don't need to get too sad about the Nevada game. Fix the mistakes and get ready for the meatgrinder schedule ahead of us.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Jinxed em. But Stanford does look better than they were the last two seasons.

Stanford is still picked last in the ACC by most who have made predictions. Would have been a nice opening win for the Cardinal and ACC

Georgia is just curb stomping Clemson today which leaves me wondering whether FSU and Clemson are really 2 of the best teams in the ACC or have just been grossly overrated because of their history. Could be that the ACC, like the Big XII, will be a very balanced conference with no clear favorite but way behind the SEC in terms of talent level

Looks like both Clemson and FSU lack major dynamism on Offense. VT lost to lowly Vandy. So, unless Miami come stop huge and GT plays as well all season as it did against FSU, it may be that Louisville comes out best. Brohm is the real deal as HC.

Loved the trivia question during the Georgia vs Clemson game...what 3 CURRENT college HCs have won national championships? Dabo and Kirby Smart were the no-brainer teasers but Mac Brown won a NC when he was at Texas so Mac was really the trivia question today

For the conference, thank goodness Miami stomped the Gators. The Hokies should be embarrassed.

Meanwhile, for SMU, Nevada fell behind 14-0 at Troy but it’s 28-3 Nevada since then, now 28-17 early in the fourth. Troy is not bad at all usually, especially at home.

Nevada up 11 in the 4th (sound familiar?) @ Troy. Nevada was a 7.5 pt dog, hopefully they can hang on in this one.

Nevada wins 28-26 at Troy and that's a good road win against a Troy team that can be pretty competitive at home
