This is the level of recruiting SMU will need to compete in the ACC. I remember Dave Bliss announcing his recruiting strategy when he took over a struggling program and quickly built SMU into a Top 25 program...he just wanted to get a couple of the top players in Dallas to "stay home". O'Neal (6-5 or 6-6, 175) chose SMU over offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. 247sports.com lists him as the No. 122 player in the country, the nation's No. 28 small forward and the No. 10 player in Texas.
