Anyone know if there are concerns about FSU team travel with the impending storm heading towards Tallahassee?
Re: FSU Travel
Norvell said they have a plan in place. I'm sure they would come to Dallas early if needed and practice at HP

HP hosting Tyler High this Friday night but it would be a cool experience to have FSU practicing in the IDF or at Highlander.

Could happen. Heard FSU decided to come a day early.tristatecoog wrote:HP hosting Tyler High this Friday night but it would be a cool experience to have FSU practicing in the IDF or at Highlander.

FSU was sending a pep band via two buses but they are no longer traveling to Dallas.
Re: FSU Travel
bummer. I like when the opposing team has a band in the stadium
Re: FSU Travel
I don't. Well, I do, but I like it even better when the PA system plays over the visiting band every single time they play (like with TCU last Saturday). You can't do that with FSU because they drone on incessantly.Pony ^ wrote:bummer. I like when the opposing team has a band in the stadium
Re: FSU Travel
Of course opponents accuse us of playing Peruna non stop. I love it when our band does that.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I wish I could hear our band better in the 1st half. They sound louder (maybe mic’d up?) in the 4th qtr. I, too, loved the PA music over tcu’s band. Kudos to whomever thought fast enough to play the exit song for Sonny! That was priceless.

I don't understand the decision to note include the band in the run out of the team at the start of the game, personally. My eyes just say, why not form the diamond M out of the tunnel and just create an opening to allow the team to run through....plus add some mics so that we can hear the fight song but...alas.soccermom wrote:I wish I could hear our band better in the 1st half. Yup, storm seems to be moving fast. I remember when a group of Mustang Band members would travel on their own to games.Dukie wrote:I don't. Speaking of bands, what's the Mustang Band's head count this season?
