And of course they will blame being in the ACC for this.

They will specifically blame SMU. I’m serious. Duke has never beaten them (I know; ugh) but Wake has blasted them a few times and they blame…Wake.SMU Pony Mom wrote:And of course they will blame being in the ACC for this.

And SMU specifically. It was always Wake's fault for beating FSU, which helped cost them a few recruits.SMU Pony Mom wrote:And of course they will blame being in the ACC for this.

How can they blame being the ACC when FSU was in the ACC when he committed in the first place? Oh right, nothing in CFB makes sense anymore.

FSU blaming said team for upsetting them is akin to the same logic they used in the Middle East. You should not be in my country so therefore your car should not be there. So if I run into you it is your fault. Now I fully understand the depth of hatred my cousins (who both went to Florida) had for Florida State.
The win last week should have sent shockwaves and a strong reassurance to the rest of the ACC. SMU is not just here to compete, they are here to become a tier I contender year in year out.
SMU was a winning program in 1987 cumulatively. In another year or two, we will be back over .500 overall and on our way back to the Kyle Rote-Doak Walker-Eric Dickerson heydays. It is going to happen.
