Is there a joke that I am not in on? On which planet is Duke above SMU and Louisville? They came back to beat a UNC team that gave up 70 to the other "Dukes" the week before. Before that they beat an FCS team, the WORST FBS independent team in modern history (UConn -- not the basketball team), a bad G5 team, and a bottom-5 P4 team in 2OT.

BUS is correct about these things not mattering, but UNC coming off that huge loss was a terrible time to catch them in a rivalry game, and JMU is not bad. You should also revise your opinion of UConn, who just obliterated Buffalo, who beat NIU, who (unlike Louisville) actually beat Notre Dame. I personally would rate SMU above Duke but your facts are pretty skewed.

I know you can pin a lot of this on getting the QB situation figured out, but I'm big on the head-to-head matchup with all other things being equal.
