This would have been a nice road trip for me because we lived in Durham from '87-'91 and could have hooked up with some old neighbors and associates from work there but Mrs CP and I have the grands for the weekend so our daughter and son-in-law can attend the Concert for Carolina (fundraiser for the western North Carolinians devastated by recent flooding). Since this SMU team has exceeded my expectations (so far) for this season and I had this game @ Duke as a tossup, I will go with SMU winning a close one 27-23. That result just might bring ESPN Game Day to The Hilltop for what will be a huge game against Pitt next week!

Driving to Durham from the Greensboro area for the game tomorrow. Picking up my son (NC State grad) in Raleigh on the way there. WeΓÇÖre planning on helping bring home a victory. 31-21 Ponies! A couple of late Duke touchdowns make it look closer than the score indicates.
