Missouri and Illinois both lost big and that matters. Both were ranked ahead of us. navy which was too 25 also lost big.

Kansas St barely won today against a poor Kansas team, so these close victories happen.

Not that it would impact us, but Ohio State barely won today against Nebraska so it goes to show winning is difficult. Also the travel from coast to coast will take a toll. Not trying to come up with excuses for the mistakes, but take the win, and need to improve a lot on offense against Pitt.

We won by 30 on the road and dropped in the polls. We aren't ND and don 't get the benefit of brand name. We are at the top of the ACC. Big plus. We have one loss to a probably top 10 team the week in BYU. Can't fault playing against ACC and Big XII teams as a weak schedule to lesser opponents.

One would think with two teams losing that are slightly higher ranked than us we move up. But then again, we are the Rodney Dangerfield of college football.
