I thought Duke really brought their A game. Probably the best theyΓÇÖve played all season. They wanted that W really bad - their fans assumed that they would be ranked if they won. So when you go into hostile territory against a good team that really wants to win, youΓÇÖve earned that W regardless of what it looks like.

As I mentioned elsewhere, this game was needlessly close. We had the ball on their 1 and 4 and got no points. Even one field goal and we win without any stress. Score twice and we cruise to win #7. Duke's front 7 played quite well at times - although facemask could have been called several more times last night.

My concerns are that we seem to get predictable deep in the Red Zone, and had little OL push. We've got the beef, and the talent to score every time we are inside the 5. Get creative, or determined to put the ball in the EZ.

Was there any thought to letting Stone come in after Jennings was hurt? He clearly was not playing his best. You have two starting QBs, why not use the 2nd in that spot?

Defense. God Bless them. Although they did not score, or get a TO, they won the game. The blocked FG is another legendary play in SMUs history, and that image of an SMU player leaping over the line will stay with me for years.
