Re: Bowl EligibleHoping for a major Bowl game, around New Years time frame but in warm climate location, and which has a long history and tradition, as well as name recognition based on some actual geographic reality (vs known primarily by some obscure Corp sponsor--looking at you Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl) that everyone will recognize: Please, please send us to the Gator Bowl !
Re: Bowl Eligiblewhy are we talking about mediocre bowl games when the playoffs are within our own control. win out and we will be in (most likely...)
Re: Bowl EligibleExactly. It’s fun but forget December. Our only bowl game now is Saturday against Pitt.

Pop-Tarts Bowl Projected matchup: BYU vs. SMU Will either of these two teams win their respective conferences? It's hard to say at the moment, but they certainly have a chance. Expect the Big 12 and ACC to be one-bid leagues in the playoff, so the Cougars and Mustangs have to handle business against projected league title game winners Colorado and Miami to get there. BYU's loss to Kansas was critical. https://247sports.com/longformarticle/c ... 7/#2541796 Mustang from India
Re: Bowl Eligible
That rematch would be a nice consolation prize if neither team is able to make the CFP
Re: Bowl EligibleESPN
DirecTV Holiday Bowl Snapdragon Stadium (San Diego) 8 p.m. Bonagura: Clemson vs. Colorado Schlabach: SMU vs. Arizona State Pop-Tarts Bowl Camping World Stadium (Orlando, Florida) 3:30 p.m., ABC Bonagura: SMU vs. Kansas State Schlabach: Clemson vs. Iowa State I don't understand why both of them picked Syracuse for the Gator Bowl. Would Syracuse be more attractive to the folks in Jacksonville than an 11/2-10/3 SMU team?
Re: Bowl Eligible
Half of Florida is from New York, if that matters.
