Shaping up to be a pivotal game. If we beat BC, UVA game could clinch berth in ACC championship. If we were to lose to BC - it is a must win. Either way - pivotal game.
Tickets are extremely cheap as UVA students will be on break. Starting at $17 and front row midfield for around $50.
Anyone know what section at Scott Stadium is the SMU section?
Hotel Recommendations in Charlottsville?

Pony time - you’re incorrect regarding Virginia’s Thanksgiving vacation - Their last day of school is Wednesday, November 27 - we play Virginia on November 23 - wish it were so

That's good! Would much rather see a usual gameday atmosphere than a dead campus.

The visitors sections are in the corner of the end zone on the right of the TV screen, directly opposite the TV cameras. They are in both the lower and upper decks. Your team will be staying in the Omni Hotel downtown, the only one in C'ville capable of handling that large a party. There are a lot of hotels and motels like the Hilton Garden Inn, Best Western, etc. Rooms shouldn't be too difficult to get. The Graduate by Hilton is on The Corner, the commercial strip directly across University Ave from the campus (which we call The Grounds). You'll get to walk through the oldest part of the University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to Scott Stadium. Rooms there may already be gone. The team charter will fly directly from Dallas to C'ville, as the airport can handle 737- and 757-sized planes (Oregon, USC, and UCLA used 757s). If you are flying in from DFW, your best bet will be a flight to Dulles International in Northern VA, rather than Richmond or C'ville, and then renting a car. DC Reagan National probably has flights, too, but it can be a real pain trying to get out of town. It's about a 2 hour very scenic drive from Dulles to C'ville, major highways the whole way. For anyone making the drive from the DC area, be aware that Greene County is a massive radar trap along US Route 29, 100 kph on your speedometer (63 mph) is pretty safe. The deputies and state troopers know when it's gameday. It's pretty hilly coming from DC and easy to lose track of how fast you're going. The deputies and troopers supposedly have a rhyme, "At 9 you're fine. At 10 you're mine." Parking from the DC area is at John Paul Jones Arena and there's a shuttle to the stadium. The lots at Fontaine Research Park are used by people coming from the western, southern, and Richmond areas as they are close to I-64. Both parking areas are free.

Thank you sir/madam. Many, many years ago we went to Monticello. The guided tour was fantastic and something I suggest to anyone visiting Charlottesville.

Been to UVA many times since I am a native Virginia and went back here after graduating from the Hilltop. Great summary. If you're driving down from DC on 29, stop at Yoders in Madison County if you like ice cream. We've stayed at the English Inn in Charlottesville sometimes. The breakfast bar is pretty well stocked. Its also next to a great bagel place, the name escapes me. I have a farm about an hour from Charlottesville, unfortunately the house is still under construction, month 7. I was hoping to have a barbecue, but sadly that's not an option this year. In 7 years when we return to Charlottesville, it will hopefully be done by then and hopefully, I'll still be alive. Beat BC.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Add to the game saga - the SMU game is the game they have circled as the one that would give them Bowl eligibility. They are not counting on winning away games at ND or VT. With that said - Go Cavs - Beat the Irish and get it over with this weekend!

Delaware Cav - Thanks for all of the insight! Is Graduate hotel to Scott Stadium walkable? Are tailgates mainly in parking lots or on campus?

If we beat BC and Cal, but lose to UVA - we may be knocked out of ACC game due to common opponents (Clemson beat UVA)...with that being said, we beat LOU and Clem didn't so I'm not sure how that shakes out..
Beat BC first

UVA having a hard time selling tickets to SMU game. They just announced a 50% off sale. Tickets as low as $12.50. They are calling it fan appreciation day. See following link: https://fevo-enterprise.com/event/hooswinsmu2024Should lower the prices of all of the tickets on the secondary market as well.
