With the exception of BYU losing, yesterday was a fantastic day for SMU football.
And even BYU losing has a silver lining; a lower-ranked, 2-loss-at-best Big 12 champion is guaranteed after BYU lost yesterday.
Is there any doubt anymore whether the ACC or the B12 is the better football conference -- at least this year anyway?

One of the best things about the 12-team bracket, and having a team challenging for a spot, is the sheer number of other games you get to suddenly care about. It's like having a MBB bracket.
Today, go OSU (OK version), OSU (OR version), MSU (MS version), and GT (no location identifier needed). Even peripheral things like Duke beating Wake tomorrow could help, as the Devils are 28/31 in the "RV" column in both polls so could sneak into the committee's Top 25, giving both SMU and Miami another Top 25 win. Ditto for Louisville vs Kentucky; the Cards are currently 30/29 in the polls.

These were all pretty easy to predict.

10-0 GT. And so far the score is not indicative of the azz-kicking that they are laying on UGA.

If GATech can pull this upset it’s a major boon for the ACC
