What did SMU coach Rhett Lashlee say about Penn State ahead of the CFP?

Re: from NY Times
This article is oblivious to the biggest (1982) storyline. Though I am unsure how that could motivate the current Mustangs.indianmustang wrote:https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5981776/2024/12/09/smu-penn-state-time-odds-college-football-playoff/

Amazing article. Really captures the spirit of Big D (good or bad):

Re: SMU outlook
I think this article is mostly correct: the difficulty for us will be the weather and the crowd. But to fact-check them a bit: the game will be in the daytime, not night. That is the silver lining. Also, apparently they like to let the grass grow long, which slows down the players. That is to PSU's advantage as well.indianmustang wrote:https://www.thebiglead.com/breaking-down-smu-s-2025-college-football-playoff-outlook
