yea, NCAA makes it hard to play the song 700 times in a game.
No they don't. You can play while the ball is in play, you can play while the teams are in the huddle. Just do it quietly (you guys seem to be good at that). Plus, they have to give you a warning before you actually get in trouble. So play away. smu diamond m wrote:If we could play peruna in 5 seconds (yea, right), that's nearly an hour of solid peruna.
So what's the issue? Your part is just "wawawa" anyways.

Forget Van Halen. Tony Bennett (Phil's uncle) "Take the 'A' Train". That'll make all the deep pockets (blue-hairs) give it up.

How about "I get knocked down (but I get up again)" by Chumbawumba?
Since I mentioned a futball song, how about, Gerry and the Pacemakers' "You'll Never Walk Alone," the theme song for Liverpool FC?

I'm game for it, I just don't think 700 perunas will happen ever again.

We should steal a page out of Wisconsin's book where they play Jump Around by House of Pain between the thrid and fourth quarters. The whole stadium goes nuts - its really incredible.

Actually, we could probably raise more money from them if we reanimated the corpse of Lawrence Welk and brought a bubble machine.

Bob Hope dead yet? We could reanimate him as a zombie, and make him donate money to us.

*Pictures all 6000 people in Ford stadium (half of them over 60) "going nuts" to Jump Around*
That's an amusing visual.

I am all for the Peruna counter! What an ingenious idea that actually makes the slackers that make up the Hub of SMU Spirit accountable for mainting that title.
As for team theme songs, I still think that the Manchester United standard of "My Baby Takes the Morning Traing" is greatness.

I vote "YES" for the "Peruna" counter. Pure genius.

The only problem with the Peruna counter on the scoreboard is that 75% of the people in the stadium won't know what the hell peruna is, and will be doing a collective WTF?
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

We sould put the counter right next to our score, so it looks like this:
SMU________Visitor
50 10__________03
(stupid extra space eraser)
