In the Carolinas they seem to compete between the mustard based and vinegar based, I prefer the vinegar, although Virginia with ketchup, vinegar, onion, black and cayenne pepper is my favorite. And on chicken the Alabama white sauce is the best.

Still wondering why Clemson voted against us joining the conference. That will certainly be mentioned to the players and they'll be out with a big chip on their shoulders. As a point of reference, we destroyed FSU. Its going to be a war on Saturday. Both teams will be playing for the big prize. Sort of like the old prize fighter against the young stud. We are excited to be in the ACC and in this game. We hope to hold up our end to make it a good fight.

The clemson vote against SMU wasn't an indictment on SMU, just didn't/don't want more votes against us in future as we get out. We're also a different animal than FSU talent and coaching wise.

That said, we'll see....

Yes - I can absolutely see how some in the ACC felt like the deck was being stacked against them by these additions in regards to additional votes. Don't hold it against Clemson for doing what they had to do with that vote. But in the end, the ACC is actually a stronger conference across all sports with the additions (and SMU is certainly carrying its weight in VB, Soccer, FB and BBall thus far - not to mention SMU and Stanford will clean up in the Olympic sports). The ACC had to make these moves for the long term good of the conference.

BBQ: I always mistakenly associated Carolina BBQ with NC. Is SC BBQ essentially the same as NC BBQ or is there a difference?

Thanks for joining and welcome TigerTown. Look forward to the game.

Do you or any of your colleagues have a NC BBQ recommendation close to the Westin
hotel in Charlotte? Would love to give it a try. Thanks

SC has a mustard based sauce whereas NC has a more vinegar and red pepper flake sauce. Can't go wrong with either one.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

When we moved from Dallas to Durham our company had a bbq and we showed up expecting what we had come to know in Texas as bbq. Instead, they had Brunswick Stew and pork with mustard based bbq sauce. Needless to say I was disappointed but have adapted. Not sure there is a difference in North vs South Carolina but when we lived in Charleston it was more about oyster roasts for large gatherings than bbqs

Not from Charlotte so no real suggestions, obviously ask folks at hotel is best bet.

There for work a couple times a year, there's a cool little alley with a bunch of good restaurants (not fancy, pubs and such.). It's called latta arcade.

So first - congrats on an entertaining game last Saturday! I'm sure y'all feel like you left some plays out there that could have changed the outcome, but in the end a great game and doing so first year in the league was outstanding.

On to the playoffs for us both... I feel like we got the better matchup, but that's honestly due to the fact Franklin is like 1-100 in big games. On our side I think the fact euwers is the farthest thing from a mobile QB really benefits us...but as I noted in lead to our game with you our coordinators just seem to get exposed.

I have never been a "I pull for the conference" guy, but listening to the rhetoric if we lose makes me pull for y'all (even though my grandfather went to PSU, but he did finish at Pitt after WW2 broke up his college experience.)

We've got a week but think your speed gives them issues.
