Yi─ƒito─ƒlu goes over the back for his fourth foul, sending Collins to the line

Collins misses FT, rebound by B.J. Edwards. LSU head coach Matt McMahon was going nuts trying to get his team to foul Edwards, which eventually happened but not until Edwards burned off about 10 seconds ... and then hit 2 free throws

70-64 SMU

Was not able to watch much of this game but did see part of the run that gave SMU a double digit lead in the 2nd half. Looking at the box score I see we had 20 assists on 27 made FGs. Love to see guys share the ball that way. Obviously a fun game for the SMU fans who were able to attend. Cross came up big and Harris hits 3-4 threes. You just never know who is going to hurt you when you are trying to defend this SMU team

We are struggling to make layups and easy putbacks. I'm not sure what the answer is for that but I do like that we are rebounding the ball well and creating easy buckets. If we can ever make the easy shots we will win going away. I can't wait to see what Andy can do with the elite talent that is on its way. I hope we can string together some wins. This win over LSU was key to keeping us in play for an at-large bid. I think we can be one of 5 ACC teams to make the tournament if the chips fall right for us.

Yesterday was also one of the worst FT shooting games our guys have had this year but it looks like Samet and BJ made clutch FTs in the last minute of that game when they were needed to protect the lead.

It is nice to see them closing out a game against a good opponent.
