Notice that home teams won all four of these games. IMHO, CFP games should not be home games. Besides having to play in hostile environments, it deprives the players of a bowl experience which they deserve.

Would love to have seen our guys play Penn State in the climate-controlled stadium in Phoenix. Not saying we would have won, but it would have been closer than it was when we played them in the North Pole.

Agreed. They need to bring in the next top 8 bowl games for the first round and then raise what it means to be bowl-eligible from six wins to seven. Would be improve the CFP and make for better bowl matchups for the rest all the way around.

In retrospect, I am convinced that the selection committee got it right this year. Every team that was in it deserved to be there, and every team that didn't make it in didn't deserve it.

Ped State, ND, OSU and TU. I hate 'em all. Doubt I watch a second of any of the remaining games.

by process of (dislike) elimination, THE osu hopefully will prevail.

I would imagine that SEC Shorts is going to have a field day with this CFP tourney.

I hate them all too. I guess I'll root for PSU against ND since it will make us look better if they throttle the Irish. BYU proved they were good. Clemson gave Texas a tough game in Austin. And PSU handled Boise. So, our only losses were to really good ranked teams with only one loss of more than 3 points to PSU.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

It is a tough call. Decisive Penn State wins soften the blow of our loss up there. On the other hand, Notre Dame is not a member of an entitled acting "super" conference. One thing for certain: I'm for whoever plays UT.

I agree they are all un-root-able programs, but here's my list of those I'd hate winning less to those I'd hate winning more:

* Notre Dame (Riley Leonard is a good kid and ND sure is arrogant, but without all the extra-problematic things the other three bring)
* tOSU (solely because the last two are worse)
* Texas (not last only because I've already had to deal with them winning while I've been in Austin, and because the last is worse)
* Ped State

Marcus Freeman has made ND easier to root for. (I canΓÇÖt go as far as to say likable.) And I also agree with DukieΓÇÖs rankings above.

Sorry, but this year (and only this year) I want Pedo State to win it all simply because it would make us look better.

I'm gonna be at the UT-OSU game, only because my daughter is a freshman at UT and I promised I would take her to a UT playoff game if it wasn't too far. So now I have to pretend to root for the Whorns.
