SMU adds all-conference safety
Safety Robert Rahimi (6-1 / 205) is transferring to SMU from San Jose State, according to numerous media outlets. In his lone season at SJSU (after transferring from Liberty), Rahimi earned Second Team conference from the Mountain West Conference and from Phil Steele's magazine. He finished the season with a career-high 82 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, a career-high four pass breakups, one sack while tying a career-high with five interceptions.

Nice to add an experienced player our DC is familiar with. Losing McGill & Sanders leaves a hole in the 2-deep at safety
