The Daddy Warbucks SMU alums are willing to donate loads (and loads) of cash if they see (or are assured) they're getting something on the positive side in return. The Doherty-Orsini tandem are motivators and they're willing to go out on a limb to promise a significant "return" on a significant investment. We got lulled into catatonic, zombie oblivion with our former fundraising slogan, "Alms for the poor, alms for the poor", which wasn't very inspiring.

Which is why, to quote Hoop Fan, our "gutless moral-less everyday whore" of an alma mater will let Max Williams go scott free for his hate-crimes against SMU.

Well, if it happens, it happens. No point in posting my opinion. I don't know anything about Max Williams and figure what he does is really none of my business.

I guess it might be your business if he was paying players and it caused us to get the death penalty again.
