2025 Bracketology and ACC Tournament Updates

As long as we beat FSU we are either 4th or 5th depending on UNC and Duke. Wake is one game behind us. There's a lot of fluidity at the bottom seeds. You could have 4 teams at 7-13. Also Pitt has two cupcakes and VT has Clemson. So, VT could fall behind Pitt. If we get UNC at 5th, then that would mean a quality win that might get us over the bubble (if we can beat them).

Yea; I was responding to your ΓÇ£favor the sixth seedΓÇ¥ comment. And of course even if SMU and uNC are 4/5 in whatever order, whoever is the 5 seed has to win their first game for SMU-uNC to happen.

Anyone rooting for SMU to drop the road game at FSU for seeding purposes is not seeing the bigger picture. You can't lose to FSU and have any path other than winning the ACC tourney.

Beating FSU and any Q1 opponent in the ACC tourney could put SMU in. That is what we need to root for.

Would be nice if SMU-UNC happens as that could essentially be a play-in game for the NCAA tourney.

Fun day set up tomorrow with:

* Wake hosting Georgia Tech tomorrow at 1:15 Central (Wreck 'Em, Tech);
* SMU visiting F$U tomorrow at 3 pm Central (obviously, Go Ponies); and
* Duke visiting the Dump on the Hump at 5:30 Central (LGD, for obvious reasons for me but also, if the other two results work out, this one would mean that SMU is the 4 seed and uNC the 5).

Other games matter for various seeding purposes in the conference but those are the three that matter most for the Ponies.
