I don't see any of that as being clear. When exactly did Matt whine about playing time to grandpa? When did he rat out all the Tubb's NCAA violations? I'm not saying that isn't a possibility, but you have zero evidence whatsoever.

And no you don't need any proof to spout off on a message board. Just followed your posts for a few years and thought you had a little more class than that. I suppose I could create numerous theories on what transpired with Williams, Tubbs, Fall, heck, any of the players. Could spread it around on a message board just because I can. Maybe start rumors that some of the players are crooked and asked for handouts. maybe say some of them are dumb as bricks and cheated. I could take "point A" and "point Z" and fill in "B-Y" on my own. Not going to do that though.

its does not matter what really happened, and the exact truth will never be known in the public. Regardless, Matt Williams should transfer to a new school of his choice. Sorry if you don't like hearing that . Do you people really think there is some tape recording somewhere with Matt's discussions with grandpa? IT DOES NOT MATTER. In a deal like this everybody loses. Sorry Matt, so sorry. I realize he can't help being related to Max but such is life. Methinks he has benefited from his last name greatly, sometimes it goes both ways in life. Matt leaving would help heal the wounds and give something to show the community that SMU did not play favorites in this deal. Matt and Max should realize that SMU is bigger than they are, and do the right thing: voluntarily.

I don't have that big of a problem with that opinion. But I'm still waiting for even the slightest bit of evidence that Matt ratted out his teammates and his coach to anyone. You said it was apparent that this happened.

Sorry Hoop Fan, so sorry, but you seem to be the only one around here calling for Matt's head and saying that leaving school is the "right thing to do." That's the way life is sometimes. Life isn't always fair, so be a big boy, stop whining and do the right thing by dropping this ridiculous point, VOLUNTARILY.

Yes, apparent, meaning it appears to me. I have heard some things from credible people about Matt complaining about playing time early in the season. And no DiamondM, Matt did not redshirt from the beginning like you have stated before. He did appear early on, check the stats. There is no proof, there will be no proof, and it doesnt matter anyway. If Matt and Max really love SMU they would step aside out of principle and appearance. There is a saying in the financial world that one must have integrity/independence in appearance and in fact. SMU needs to adhere to that idea for its own good.

Stallion, I find that hard to believe. Since you love rivals so much, I'll use that as an example. Matt was a 3 star player, same as recent recruits Derrick Roberts and Chris Reay, better than recent recruits such as John Killen and Devon Pearson...and if my memory stands correct, he scored about 30 points a game, and was one of the leading 3 point shooters in 5A. I don't care who your competition is, if you're scoring 30 points a game, you must be doing something right!

I was only using the exact words you used in your previous posts to point out the absurd level to which you have taken this. Look, I have always respected your opinions on this board. I find them informative, backed up by facts, etc. Which is why your ridiculous obsession with what this 19 year old kid "fairly readily apparently" did is so out of character. Move on.

I have posted here before that I too would like to see little Matty's scholarship yanked. My disdain for him is simple: guilt by association with Max.
