If it's true that "not 1 but 2 hands full of sitting Power 4 conference sitting athletic directors" were interested, that says a lot about how far we have come in recent years.

Evans spoke about the next round of realignment coming as private equity gets more involved in college athletics and the importance of building SMU's brand. Hopefully we can significantly increase the number of donors joining the Boulevard Collective at the "Run with the Mustangs" level or higher but as a small private university we will continue to rely on our BMDs to run with the larger public schools in P4 conferences
