Re: Duke basketball Nil fundThat was a good read. I like the let's not talk about money and keep the student's life a little bit more private.
Thank you to SMU BMD's and LMD's too. Go Mustangs Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
Re: Duke basketball Nil fundSMU has the Boulevard Collective but still needs our "Circle of Champions" to compete in today's world of college athletics
Re: Duke basketball Nil fundI thought Duke was the most talented team this year and probably had the most talent for a college basketball program in a while. Just goes to show the best teams don’t always win.
Also goes to show how important NIL funding is. Ohio State I believe had the highest NIL fund and assembled the best roster in football. It’s what’s needed to win. I was also impressed by Jon Scheyer, really impressive young coach. He will have Duke win a championship. I found it curious that the WSJ said Duke is the most iconic brand in college basketball. Maybe “arguably” but to say it’s the most iconic I don’t think one program can say that. There are multiple programs that can argue for that including UCLA, UNC, Kentucky, UConn, Indiana, Kansas. All of those are blue bloods in the sport. In I had to chose, it would be among ucla, unc, duke and Kentucky. Anyways, just found it interesting as that is a debatable position to be so definitive on.
Re: Duke basketball Nil fundI thought he got outcoached last night. You gotta get inbound against the press. They failed multiple times with game on the line. That’s coaching. 5 inbound plays at least. Quick entry, don’t let D set up.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
