Sam Walters, a 6-10 forward who was listed as a sophomore on Michigan's roster last year, has committed to transfer to SMU.

Walters averaged 5.0 points and 1.6 points in 23 appearances, playing 12.6 minutes per game.

• In 88 games at Village Charter: scored 1598 points (18.2 ppg) and grabbed 711 rebounds (8.1 rpg)
• Helped Buffalo to three 20-plus win seasons and 65-24 overall record
• As a senior (2022-23), averaged 23.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists

A 6'10" lefty with deep shooting range sounds like a matchup nightmare waiting to happen.

Really need to have at least 4-5 quality PF/C types who can all contribute and allow rotations to deal with fatigue and foul trouble. This is an important addition with Traore apparently moving on.
