For the third year in a row, 23 will be worn by safety Isaiah Nwokobia.

That's impressive, but I think Jerry Levias still holds the record.

Lashlee talked about Isaiah wearing # 23 for 3 consecutive years and that Chris Banjo had done the same. Impressive accomplishment by both players

Banjo wore 22 in 2008, and 23 in each of the next three seasons.

Banjo spent 10 years in the NFL and then 3 years and counting as an NFL coach. Not bad for a UFA.

Banjo was "too short" to play safety in the NFL, and Zach Line was "too slow" to play RB in the NFL.

Both had excellent careers, and both are NFL coaches now.

Two of the best.

Assuming he's back next year, I'd love to see Jennings wear it next year -- partly because he seems like an awesome guy, and also because it would be cool to see a quarterback wearing 23.
