By my count we will have 5 guys moving on after this year so barring a transfer there is only one more 'ship to give? With 2 highly productive guards in Harris & Oquendo among those finishing up their college careers, I sure hope Enfield and his staff can land a top flight guard who can come in and contribute right away.

After watching our guys fall @ Butler tonight with BJ Edwards disappearing offensively, I really hope Enfield can find a scoring guard to come in here and make an immediate impact next year and take some pressure off Boopie Miller

We are going to miss Harris and Oquendo next year. Need to find an impact guard to help fill this class.

Did I mention we really need another impact guard for next year's team? That 1-14 shooting from three against Clemson was a reminder of that need. Hopefully Boopie and B.J. come back but they are going to need help in the backcourt

Would O'Neill work as a 2?

O-Neill, Puryear and Davis-Ray were all double figure scorers in H.S. but we don't know if they will do so against ACC competition. Losing Cross, Harris and Oquendo will take a big bite out of our offense so we are going to need scoring from the SF & SG positions next year. I'm hoping for an impact guard/proven scorer from the portal to supplement Boopie and B.J. (hopefully they both return for their SR seasons). In this day and age, roster building/maintenance is a huge challenge year to year.

The late addition of Billy White III along with O-Neill, Puryear and Davis-Ray gives us 4 young/inexperienced players who along with Boopie, B.J., Corey Washington and Jaron Pierre, Jr should give us plenty of guys who can help offset the loss of Cross, Harris & Oquendo, three of our top four leading scorers from last season. Have to feel pretty good about next year's roster, at least on paper, compared to what we had in our 1st ACC season where we clearly could not compete against the top teams in the conference.
