The rumor floating out there is that Arthur's mom is getting $50K and Hartwell is getting $25. AGAIN, THIS IS JUST A RUMOR and nothing has been substantiated. Worth throwing out there, though.

KU is going to wish they never did business with him and his posse. Too much baggage.

The quotes in the paper were so ridiculous and orchestrated. They should all be embarrassed.

Pretty strong accusations with nothing factual to back it up. Personally, I think there were some underhanded dealings in his recruitment -- I don't know which school(s) and because he didn't come to SMU, I don't care -- but to put names and dollar amounts to it is quite an accusation.

My bad, 25K. As for nothing to back it up, I've seen a lot of stuff posted on this board that was never backed up.

For instance, how about the deal where someone posted that Rob Evans was the new coach because a "source'' told him. How did that work out for the one who posted it and the "source" who planted the information?

I personally like all of the speculation as long as it is stated as such. Makes life interesting. Whenever a situation like DA's occurs I always wonder about the "Dickerson scenerio" where a kid takes from one school with the promise to attend and then goes to another school who is clean. No way the "giving" school can claim foul without exposing themselves.

Now, as a caveat to my statements, I am not saying this is what happened and I am not indicating that SMU was clean with Dickerson (but seemed to be on the vehicle).
